Goodbye my Friend

As many of you know I am an avid reptile lover / collector. Yesterday was a sad day as we made the decision to downsize our collection slightly before we move home later this year.

It was a hard decision but decided that one of the two Bearded dragons were to go.

A friend that i work with is going to give him a good home and know that he will take good care of him.

Albeit a strange name. Goodbye Lola (we thought HE was a SHE)

You looking at ME !!!

  3. ooooh!! bye bye lola!
i had to do the same with Monty, my ball python. i felt i wasn't giving him as much attention as he needed, so i gave him away to someone with a few other snakes...where he could be held a lot more!!!

at leasst you have your beautiful shots & good memories...and maybe visitation?? =)

  5. Saying goodbye to animals is hard. Was missing 2 of ours last night - one a very old dog who's time had come, and one a sulcata tortoise, who needed much more room to grazed and dig. The pics come in handy, but we still miss them and think of them fondly. From one animal lover to another, so sorry.

  9. Downsizing is sometimes difficult, but I'm glad he'll have a good home! Handsome little fella! A good friend of mine has a daughter who has some bearded dragons and she loves them.
